Troubleshooting and Solving Automated Swimming Pool Cleaners

Here are the guidelines:

When a automatic swimming pool cleaner fails, the first achievable problem you should check out is the source of energy. Robotic swimming pool cleaners do not run from a hydraulic system, it runs from AC power. Most of those devices have a light that indicates whether or not something is wrong with the power source. First examine the transformer, which might lead you to exchanging the fuse.
If the unit is still lifeless, then something could be the belts. Like the majority of things, these do wear down, so after a few months of constant wear and tear, they may become worn out which causes the device to be fussy. When replacing this, make sure that the wheel tubes are straight. These are what the belt moves along, so if they're not straight, the belt will fall off, even if it's new.
If the robotic pool area cleaner's power is working, but it is not suctioning right, then bring the cleaner out of the water, power it down and disconnect it. Open up it up and take away the vent cap. Then search for debris and then for any other cover.
After the debris is removed, then check the impeller's rotation. Try to advance it by hand. If you are having difficulty moving it, then plug the device back in and turn it on. If the impeller does not move, after that the motor must have shorted out, and you are going to have to change it out.
If the machine has problems climbing walls, then might have to replace the motor too.
NEVER get rid of the robotic swimming pool cleaner from out of the water by the power cord. This will most likely give you an electric shock!!!
